  So how many of us had guilt pangs because our WT was not highlighted?

  we attended several different congregations in different states, and the one common thread among them all was...if you had your study article highlighted, you were a good jw.. honestly, how often did you cover over your magazine when the attendant walked by handing out copies to visitors?.

  sheesh.

  would anyone believe how weird this organization really is?.

  always ones with 2 to 3 different colors on their, I guess they were more rightous.

  Then even more rightous started bringing ipads & kindles... well I guess downloading them made you more studious.

  I started bringing my kindle when I hadnt studied, no one could make any comment, if they did, I'd say I dont know how you'd mark on one

  of these things! Glad I don't have to do any thing like this anymore. Not a WT or AW in my house now.

  If I did study and got my mag marked. I'd make sure to mark up my husbands enough so that he either had an answer or brother mic could see some effort in his hands. Sometimes the kids would copy the markings... I guess that's why 2/3rds of us are out now. We didn't faithfully study. But boy do we research now!!!!

  If you wrote book about JW's what title would you give it?

  many, after leaving or being cast out of 'the society,' have felt so strongly so as to write a book.

  some well thought out and good reading.. my questions are the following:.

  anyway, he applied for a lecturer's job at a college last week.

  he had a phone call today inviting him for an interview.. i'm kind of in shock.

  when we left 10 years ago, i was so upset after.

  Trust, without it all the rest just won't work.

  I think my husband is funny, has the sick kinda humor I like.

  I like thinking my mate is my best friend. I'd never be rude to a friend so why would I be rude to him, etc.

  trying to fade... using the mentally depressed, bi-polar, etc.... was eating out with husband.

  nice evening chatting and relaxing.

  ready to head home and chill for the night.

  It's a work in progress.

  I've found I will buy groceries in the next town just to avoid jws. It gets my goat how people assume they can interrogate and ask any questions they want. I just want to be left alone.

  We actually realized we've not been to the meetings in over 6 months. Made the decision not to return at all about 2 months ago. I know for myself it would take me a few months to realize there were ones missing from the meetings. I know we've had a few calls and messages in the last few weeks. I know it will take time and people will leave us alone. I'm guessing in the next few months I'll be complaining about being shunned.

  Any books on "Leaving WTS for Dummies"? :)
